2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup shredded coconut
1/2 cup chopped almonds
Instructions
Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Prepare Dry Ingredients: In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
Cream Butter and Sugars: In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar using a mixer until the mixture is light and fluffy.
Add Egg and Vanilla: Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
Combine Mixtures: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture, mixing on low speed until just combined.
Add Mix-Ins: Stir in the chocolate chips, shredded coconut, and chopped almonds until evenly distributed.
Scoop Dough: Using a 1 1/2 tablespoon scoop, drop rounded spoonfuls of dough onto parchment-lined baking sheets.
Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 9 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
Cool: Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
