Easy Microwave Pecan Pie Fudge

Ingredients

1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
1 (12 oz) package semisweet chocolate chips
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup chopped pecans, toasted (optional)

Instructions

Line an 8-inch square baking dish with parchment paper or foil, leaving some overhang for easy removal later.

In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk.

Microwave on high for 1 minute. Stir, and continue microwaving in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval, until the mixture is smooth and melted.

Stir in the vanilla extract and chopped pecans, if using.

Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking dish. Smooth the top with a spatula.

Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until firm.

Once set, lift the fudge from the dish using the overhanging parchment or foil. Cut into squares.
