Ingredients
1 cup pumpkin puree
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 large eggs
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves (optional)
Instructions
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, granulated sugar, vegetable oil, and eggs until smooth.
Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.
Blend the Mixtures: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients. Stir until just combined, avoiding overmixing.
Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula. Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool and Serve: Allow the loaf to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
Enjoy.
