Grandma’s Special Deviled Ham Salad

Ingredients

1/2 cup of mayonnaise
2 cups of finely chopped cooked ham
2 tablespoons of spicy mustard
1 teaspoon of hot sauce (adjust to taste)
1/4 cup of finely chopped celery
1/4 cup of finely chopped red onion
1 tablespoon of sweet relish
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Optional: a dash of smoked paprika for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped ham, mayonnaise, spicy mustard, and hot sauce. Stir well until all the ingredients are thoroughly mixed.

Add the Vegetables: Add the chopped celery, red onion, and sweet relish to the bowl. Mix gently to combine.

Season the Salad: Taste the mixture and season with salt and freshly ground black pepper as desired. If you prefer a little more kick, add an extra dash of hot sauce.

Chill: Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.

Serve: Serve your Deviled Ham Salad on sandwiches, in wraps, or as a dip with crackers. For an extra touch, sprinkle with a dash of smoked paprika.
