Ingredients
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 racks of baby back ribs (2-3 pounds each)
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon paprika (optional)
Salt, to taste
Instructions
Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 300°F (150°C).
Prepare the Ribs: Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs for better tenderness. Season the ribs with salt, black pepper, and paprika if using. Place the ribs on a rack over a baking sheet, with the meat side facing up.
Bake: Cook the ribs in the oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until they are tender.
Prepare Honey Garlic Sauce: While the ribs are baking, make the sauce. In a saucepan, mix together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, and brown sugar. Simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens slightly, about 10-15 minutes.
Glaze the Ribs: After baking, remove the ribs from the oven and generously brush them with the honey garlic sauce.
Broil: Increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C) or use the broiler. Return the ribs to the oven and broil for 5-10 minutes, watching closely until the sauce becomes caramelized and sticky.
Serve: Let the ribs rest for a few minutes before cutting them into individual portions. Serve with any extra honey garlic sauce on the side.
Enjoy.
