Ingredients
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream, for serving (optional)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch pie dish.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the sugar, flour, cocoa powder, and salt until well combined.
Add the melted butter to the dry ingredients and stir until smooth.
In a separate bowl, lightly beat the eggs and vanilla extract together. Add this mixture to the batter and stir until fully incorporated.
Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
Pour the batter into the prepared pie dish and spread it out evenly.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly gooey.
Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream, if desired.
Enjoy.
