Crispy Cheesy Potato Rounds

Ingredients

2 tablespoons butter, melted
4 medium potatoes
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1 cup grated cheese (cheddar or your choice)

Instructions

Prepare the Potatoes:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
Wash the potatoes thoroughly. Cut them into half-inch thick rounds.
Place the potato rounds in a large mixing bowl. Pour melted butter over them and toss to coat evenly.
Season the Potatoes:

Arrange the butter-coated potato rounds in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Drizzle olive oil over the potatoes.
Sprinkle salt, pepper, onion powder, and paprika evenly over the rounds, ensuring they are well-seasoned.
Bake the Potatoes:

Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and crispy. Flip the rounds halfway through baking for even crispiness.
Add Cheese:

Remove the baking sheet from the oven.
Evenly sprinkle grated cheese over the hot potato rounds.
Final Bake:

Return the baking sheet to the oven.
Bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden brown.
Serve:

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
