Ingredients:

  • Cucumbers: 1 large, peeled and chopped
    Why: High in water content and silica, cucumbers help flush out toxins and hydrate the body.
  • Celery: 2 stalks, chopped
    Why: Acts as a natural diuretic and supports kidney function.
  • Green Apple: 1 medium, cored and chopped
    Why: Adds natural sweetness and pectin fiber, aiding digestion.
  • Lemon: 1 small, peeled
    Why: Lemon juice promotes liver detoxification and alkalizes the body.
  • Ginger: 1-inch piece, peeled
    Why: Anti-inflammatory and supports digestion, calms bloating.
  • Turmeric Powder: ½ teaspoon (or 1-inch fresh turmeric, peeled)
    Why: Powerful antioxidant that helps fight inflammation and detoxify the liver.
  • Mint Leaves: 5-6 fresh leaves

  • Cinnamon Stick: ½ stick (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prep Ingredients:
    Wash all produce thoroughly. Peel the cucumber, ginger, lemon, and turmeric if using fresh. Chop all ingredients into small chunks for easier blending.
  2. Add to Blender:
    Place cucumbers, celery, green apple, lemon, ginger, turmeric, and mint leaves into a high-speed blender.
  3. Add Liquid:
    Pour in 1 cup of cold water or coconut water. If using cinnamon stick, break it into smaller pieces and add it.
  4. Blend Until Smooth:
    Blend on high speed for 1–2 minutes until completely smooth. If too thick, add more water to reach your desired consistency.
  5. Optional Sweetener:
    Taste the juice. If it’s too bitter or tart, add 1 teaspoon of honey or maple syrup and blend for a few seconds.
  6. Strain (Optional):
    For a smoother juice, strain through a fine mesh sieve or nut milk bag to remove pulp. Pulp is nutritious, so leaving it in is fine if you prefer a fiber-rich drink.
  7. Serve:
    Pour into glasses. Garnish with a small sprig of mint or a thin slice of lemon. Serve immediately for maximum nutrient benefit.
  8. Storage:
    Store any leftover juice in an airtight glass container in the fridge for up to 24 hours. Shake well before drinking.
