Breakfast Bread

This Breakfast Bread recipe yields soft, delicious bread rolls that are perfect for a quick and satisfying breakfast. With simple ingredients and easy steps, anyone can enjoy freshly baked bread at home.

Ingredients

  • 2 glasses of warm water (400 ml)
  • 1 glass of warm milk (200 ml)
  • 1 tea glass of (90 ml)
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar (40 grams)
  • 1 tablespoon of dry yeast (10 grams)
  • 1 teaspoon of salt (8 grams)
  • 7 cups of flour (840 grams)
  • 200 grams of soft butter, for spreading on bread

Directions

  1. Prepare the Dough:
    • In a large mixing bowl, combine warm water, warm milk,sugar, dry yeast, and salt. Stir gently until the yeast dissolves.
    • Gradually add the flour, stirring with a spoon until the dough starts to come together.
  2. Knead the Dough:
    • Transfer the dough onto a clean work surface and knead it for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Add more flour if needed to prevent sticking.
  3. First Rise:
    • Place the dough back into the mixing bowl, cover it with a damp cloth or plastic wrap, and let it rest for at least 45 minutes, or until doubled in size.
  4. Divide and Shape:
    • After the dough has risen, punch it down gently to deflate.
    • Divide the dough into 18 equal portions. Shape each portion into a smooth ball.
  5. Butter Application:
    • Spread the softened butter evenly over all the dough balls. Let them rest for 5 minutes.
  6. Second Shaping:
    • Flatten each dough ball slightly with your palm. Divide them into 6 groups of 3 balls each.
  7. Final Shaping:
    • Take each group of 3 balls and stack them on top of each other. Roll them gently together to form a larger ball.
  8. Final Rise:
    • Place the shaped dough balls onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Cover them and let them rest for another 5 minutes.
  9. Cooking the Bread:
    • Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat.
    • Place the bread balls into the pan, leaving space between them. Cook for about 5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  10. Serve:
    • Remove the bread from the pan and let them cool slightly before serving.
    • Enjoy the breakfast bread warm with butter or your favorite spread.
