Flavorful Mozzarella Chicken Patties

Ingredients

1/2 cup breadcrumbs (use panko for extra crunch)
1 lb ground chicken
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup finely chopped green onions
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
1 clove garlic, minced (optional)
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
1 egg, beaten
Olive oil or vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

Mix Ingredients:

In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, shredded mozzarella, breadcrumbs, green onions, parsley, minced garlic (if using), onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until everything is well incorporated.
Bind the Mixture:

Add the beaten egg to the chicken mixture and stir until fully mixed. The egg will help hold the patties together.
Shape Patties:

Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape each portion into a patty. Aim for about 6-8 patties, depending on your preferred size.
Heat Oil:

In a large skillet, heat a few tablespoons of oil over medium heat. Make sure the oil is hot enough to create a crispy texture.
Cook Patties:

Place the patties in the skillet, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Cook each side for about 4-5 minutes or until they are golden brown and fully cooked (the internal temperature should reach 165°F/75°C).
Drain and Serve:

Once cooked, transfer the patties to a paper towel-lined plate to absorb any excess oil. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce, or enjoy them in a bun for a tasty sandwich.
