Ingredients:
1 sheet of puff pastry (thawed if frozen)
250g minced meat (beef, lamb, or chicken)
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tbsp olive oil
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp paprika (optional)
½ tsp cumin (optional)
¼ tsp chili flakes (optional)
2 tbsp tomato paste (or 1 small diced tomato)
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
100g cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or feta), shredded
1 egg yolk, beaten (for brushing)
1 tbsp sesame seeds or nigella seeds (optional)
Instructions:
1. Prepare the filling:
Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.

Add minced meat and cook until browned.
Stir in salt, pepper, paprika, cumin, and chili flakes.
Add tomato paste and cook for 2 more minutes.
Remove from heat and mix in fresh parsley. Let it cool.
2. Assemble the pastry:
Preheat oven to 200°C (390°F).
Roll out puff pastry on a floured surface.
Cut into squares or rectangles.
Place a spoonful of the meat filling in the center of each piece.
Sprinkle with cheese.
Fold over into a triangle or rectangle and seal the edges with a fork.
3. Bake:
Brush the top with beaten egg yolk.
Sprinkle sesame or nigella seeds.
Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
4. Serve warm with yogurt sauce, salad, or soup.
