Hawaiian Roll Garlic Bread

Here’s a Hawaiian Roll Garlic Bread recipe  — buttery, garlicky, slightly sweet, and melty with cheese. Perfect as a side or party snack!

 

Ingredients

 

1 package (12-count) Hawaiian sweet rolls

½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted

4 cloves garlic, minced (or 1 ½ tsp garlic powder)

2 Tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped

1 tsp Italian seasoning

½ tsp salt

¼ tsp black pepper

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (optional, for cheesy version)

¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

 

Prep the Rolls

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

Without separating the rolls, slice the whole sheet of Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally (like cutting a sandwich bun). Place bottom half in a baking dish.

Make Garlic Butter

In a bowl, mix melted butter, garlic, parsley, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.

Assemble

Brush half the garlic butter over the bottom half of the rolls.

Sprinkle evenly with mozzarella and Parmesan (if using).

Place the top half of rolls back on. Brush remaining garlic butter generously over the top.

Bake

Cover loosely with foil and bake for 12–15 minutes, until cheese is melted and rolls are warmed through.

Remove foil and bake another 3–5 minutes for a golden top.

Serve

Slice along the roll lines and enjoy warm!
