Hearty Slow Cooker Pork Chops with Tomato and Onion

Ingredients

1 large onion, thinly sliced
2-3 large tomatoes, thinly sliced
4-6 pork chops (or your preferred meat)
1 cup tomato sauce
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons brown vinegar
1 cup beef stock
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil (optional for browning the chops)

Instructions

Season the Pork Chops: Sprinkle the pork chops with salt and pepper. For added flavor, you can brown the chops in a hot pan with olive oil for a few minutes on each side, though this step is optional.

Layer the Ingredients: In the slow cooker, start by placing the onion slices at the bottom. Follow with a layer of tomato slices. Lay the pork chops on top of the tomatoes.

Prepare the Sauce: In a bowl, mix together the tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, brown vinegar, and beef stock until well combined.

Add the Sauce: Pour the sauce mixture over the pork chops and vegetables, ensuring everything is well coated.

Cook Slowly: Cover the slow cooker and set it to cook on low for 6-8 hours, or until the pork chops are tender and infused with flavor.
Enjoy.
