Ingredients
12 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
1 tablespoon smoked paprika
2 salmon fillets
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 lemon, sliced
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Prepare the Seafood:
Rinse the salmon fillets and shrimp under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
Blend the Spices:
In a small bowl, combine the Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
Season the Seafood:
Generously rub the spice mixture over both sides of the salmon fillets and the shrimp.
Cook the Salmon:
Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Place the salmon fillets in the skillet, skin side down.
Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
Remove the salmon from the skillet and keep warm.
Cook the Shrimp:
In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil.
Add the shrimp and sauté for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they turn pink and opaque.
Plate and Serve:
Arrange the salmon and shrimp on a serving platter.
Garnish with lemon slices and a sprinkle of fresh parsley.
Enjoy.
