Ingredients
1 small onion
2-3 cloves of garlic
1/4 cup fresh parsley (or 2 tablespoons dried parsley)
1/4 cup coconut oil
1/4 cup olive oil
1 tablespoon castor oil (optional, for added nourishment)
Instructions
Prepare the Ingredients:
Peel and finely chop the garlic cloves and onion.
Combine and Heat:
In a small saucepan, blend the coconut oil, olive oil, and castor oil (if using). Heat gently over low heat.
Infuse the Oil:
Add the chopped garlic, onion, and parsley to the oil mixture. Allow it to simmer on low heat for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Avoid overheating to prevent burning.
Strain and Store:
After cooling, strain the oil through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a clean, airtight container.
Usage:
Massage a small amount of the oil into your scalp and hair. For best results, leave it on for at least 30 minutes, or overnight. Wash out with a mild shampoo.
