Creamy Chocolate Fudge

Ingredients

1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
1 ½ cups chocolate chips
¼ cup unsalted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
¼ teaspoon salt
Optional: ½ cup nuts or dried fruit (chopped)

Instructions

Prepare the Pan: Line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper, ensuring some overhang for easy removal.

Melt Ingredients: In a medium saucepan, combine the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture is smooth and fully melted.

Add Flavorings: Remove the saucepan from heat. Stir in the vanilla extract and salt until well combined. If desired, fold in any optional nuts or dried fruit.

Transfer to Pan: Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking dish. Use a spatula to spread it evenly and smooth the top.

Chill: Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until the fudge is firm.

Cut and Serve: Once set, lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment paper overhang. Cut into small squares and serve. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Enjoy.
