Ingredients
1 cup chicken broth
4 pork chops
1 onion, thinly sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup milk
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
Salt and pepper to taste
Cooking oil
Instructions
Season both sides of the pork chops with salt and pepper.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add cooking oil.
Brown the pork chops on both sides, then transfer them to a plate and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the sliced onions and cook until they become soft and translucent.
Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
Sprinkle the flour over the onions and garlic, stirring constantly to create a roux.
Gradually pour in the chicken broth, stirring continuously to prevent lumps from forming.
Add the milk, stirring until the sauce thickens.
Return the pork chops to the skillet, spooning the sauce over them.
Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for approximately 30 minutes, or until the pork chops are cooked through and tender.
Serve the pork chops hot, generously spooning the onion gravy over the top.
Enjoy !
