Ingredients
1 can refrigerated cinnamon rolls (with icing included)
4 large apples (peeled, cored, and chopped into cubes)
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup melted butter
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg (optional)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup heavy cream (for the glaze)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish (9×13 inches) with butter or cooking spray.
Prepare the cinnamon rolls: Separate the cinnamon rolls and cut each roll into quarters. Spread them evenly in the greased baking dish.
Layer the apples: Scatter the chopped apples over the cinnamon rolls in the baking dish.
Create the cinnamon sugar mix: In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla extract. Stir in the melted butter until well combined.
Pour the mixture: Evenly drizzle the cinnamon sugar mixture over the apples and cinnamon roll pieces.
Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the cinnamon rolls are golden and the apples are tender.
Prepare the glaze: While the bake is cooling slightly, warm the reserved icing from the cinnamon rolls in a small bowl. Add the heavy cream and whisk until smooth.
Drizzle the glaze over the warm cinnamon apple bake.
Enjoy.
