1 cup cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sour cream
24 wonton wrappers
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (plus extra for topping)
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon (optional)
1/4 cup finely chopped green onions
Salt and pepper to taste
Cooking spray or melted butter (for brushing)
Instructions
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Prepare the Wonton Cups:
Spray a muffin tin with cooking spray or lightly brush it with melted butter. Gently press a wonton wrapper into each muffin cup, molding it into a cup shape.
Bake the Wonton Cups:
Place the muffin tin in the preheated oven and bake the wonton wrappers for 8-10 minutes, or until they are golden and crispy. Remove from the oven and let them cool.
Prepare the Filling:
In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, and crumbled bacon (if using). Add the chopped green onions, and season with salt and pepper. Mix until the filling is smooth and well-combined.
Fill the Wonton Cups:
Spoon the cheesy mixture into each baked wonton cup, filling them generously. Top each cup with a little more shredded cheddar cheese for an extra cheesy finish.
Final Bake:
Return the filled wonton cups to the oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese on top is melted and bubbly.
