2 tablespoons cornstarch
3 tablespoons sugar
2 cups whole milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
A pinch of salt

Instructions
Mix Dry Ingredients: In a medium saucepan, whisk together the cornstarch, sugar, and a pinch of salt until well combined.
Add Milk: Gradually pour in the milk, whisking continuously to avoid lumps.
Cook the Pudding: Place the saucepan over medium heat and cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and begins to bubble. This should take about 3 to 5 minutes.
Flavor and Serve: Once thickened, remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract. Pour the pudding into serving dishes. If desired, sprinkle a little cinnamon or nutmeg on top.
Cool or Serve Warm: You can enjoy this pudding warm or let it cool in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes for a chilled treat.
