1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
Salt and black pepper to taste
For the Pasta:

1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
12 ounces fettuccine or your preferred pasta
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 pound steak (ribeye or sirloin), sliced into strips
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup milk (whole or 2%)
Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Lemon wedges, for serving (optional)

Instructions

Cook the Pasta:
Cook the fettuccine in a large pot of salted boiling water according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Cajun Seasoning:
In a small bowl, combine all the ingredients for the Cajun seasoning. Adjust the salt and cayenne pepper to your preferred level of spiciness.

Season the Steak and Shrimp:
Divide the Cajun seasoning between the steak and shrimp, coating them evenly.

Cook the Steak:
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned steak strips and cook for 3-4 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set it aside.

Cook the Shrimp:
In the same skillet, add 2 tablespoons of butter. Once melted, add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until they turn pink and are cooked through. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside with the steak.
Enjoy.
