1/2 cup mayonnaise
4 cups frozen peas, thawed
1/2 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup red onion, finely chopped
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, cubed
Instructions
Prepare the Peas: In a large bowl, combine the thawed peas. If you prefer a slightly softer texture, you can blanch them in boiling water for 1-2 minutes before cooling.
Mix the Dressing: In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper until smooth and well-combined.
Assemble the Salad: Add the chopped red onion, crumbled bacon, and cubed cheddar cheese to the bowl of peas. Pour the dressing over the top.
Combine and Chill: Gently mix everything together until the peas are evenly coated in the dressing. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld.
