Ingredients
1/3 cup melted butter
1 cup granulated sugar
3 ripe bananas, mashed
1 large egg, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon baking soda
A pinch of salt
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 4×8 inch loaf pan.
Combine the melted butter and mashed bananas in a large mixing bowl.
Mix in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the mixture, then stir to incorporate.
Gradually add the flour, stirring just until the batter comes together. Do not overmix.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, spreading it evenly.
Bake for about 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let the bread cool in the pan for a few minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
