Ingredients
For the Peach Filling:
1 cup granulated sugar
6 cups fresh peaches, peeled and sliced (or 3 cups canned peaches, drained)
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
For the Biscuit Topping:
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/2 cup milk
Instructions
Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) to preheat.
Prepare the Peach Filling:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the peaches with sugar, lemon juice, and flour. Stir until the peaches are evenly coated.
Make the Biscuit Topping:
In another bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Add the melted butter and milk to the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
Assemble the Cobbler:
Pour the peach mixture into a 9×13-inch baking dish or a similar-sized oven-safe dish.
Drop spoonfuls of the biscuit topping over the peaches, spreading it as evenly as possible.
Bake the Cobbler:
Place the dish in the oven and bake for 45-50 minutes. The topping should be golden brown and the peach filling bubbly.
Enjoy.
