Harnessing the Power of Fig Leaves: A Natural Approach to Managing Diabetes

Ingredients

2 cups of water

Optional: honey or lemon for added flavor

Fresh fig leaves (about 5-6 large leaves)

Instructions

Prepare the Leaves: Rinse the fig leaves thoroughly under cold water to remove any dirt or impurities. Pat them dry with a clean towel.

Steep the Leaves: Tear the fig leaves into smaller pieces and place them in a pot. Pour 2 cups of water over the leaves.

Boil: Bring the water to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 10-15 minutes. This allows the beneficial compounds in the leaves to infuse into the water.

Strain: After simmering, strain the liquid into a cup, discarding the leaf pieces.

Flavor (Optional): Add honey or a splash of lemon juice to taste, if desired.
Enjoy.
