Mastering the Art of the Over-Easy Egg

Ingredients

Salt and pepper to taste
Butter or cooking oil
2 large eggs

Instructions

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a small amount of butter or cooking oil, enough to coat the pan.

Once the pan is hot, carefully crack the eggs into the skillet, ensuring not to break the yolks.

Season the eggs with a pinch of salt and pepper to your preference.

Allow the eggs to cook undisturbed for about 1-2 minutes, or until the edges are set and the whites are mostly cooked through.

Using a spatula, gently flip each egg. Be cautious not to break the yolks during this process.

Cook for an additional 30 seconds to 1 minute, depending on how runny you prefer the yolks. For a runny yolk, cook for less time; for a more set yolk, cook for longer.

Once cooked to your liking, carefully transfer the eggs to a plate.
Enjoy.
